Hector Rail has extensive experience in biofuel transportation and has been active within the energy sector since 2009, when we began transporting wood chips together with SCA Energy. Since 2014, we have maintained a large-scale cooperation with Stockholm Exergi, contributing to the supply of biofuel used in Stockholm’s district heating system.

Today, Hector Rail transports approximately 300,000 tonnes of biofuel annually through stable year-round operations. Our ability to manage both seasonal and long-term transport requirements makes us a reliable partner in a sector where continuity and operational reliability are essential.
